History
Master cabinet maker Johannes Kaupp founded his cabinet making workshop in 1924. The business was passed on to his son Hermann Kaupp and son-in-law Walter Diether in 1958. Since 1985 he company has now been under the management of the third generation, Andreas, Manfred and Hans Diether.
1954 saw the extension/expansion of the original workshop building in Hindenburgstr. 6 to a furnishings house and furniture store until, on account of the extraordinary development of both sectors in 1964, the production was moved to Mühlstraße 28.
As a result of ongoing expansion within both the enterprise and the clientele structure, the Mühlstraße “workshop” premises have developed into a modern manufacturing plant with a production area of over 2000 square metres. This is the place where the individual ideas from the interior fitting and shopfitting sectors are made reality.
In 2008, a new chapter is added to the successful development: the furniture store is completely remodelled to a high-quality kitchen store; it receives new looks with new contents and new focuses.
